2010

So the holidays are past and 2010 is here with a bang. It has been a while since my last post. some of you maybe wondering if i gave up on this thing. no, i haven't. just been a busy holiday season with work and some holiday. I will be writing on this post until i am told to stop writing.

over christmas i visited my family in South Carolina. Mom, Dad, and sister always welcome me back. Courtney flew out the day after christmas for a couple of days to hang out with us. We also went to Savannah for a little private excusion with Court. it was lovely, albeit cold. savannah is a really fun city. you can walk everywhere in the downtown area. it is similiar to New Orleans but without any garbage. i suggest to make a trip sometime.

we didn't do anything exciting for new year's eve. ny's kinda gets a little old when you get old (old like me). 4 years ago, I was downtown at a huge gala with lots of great friends. this year i was chilling with courtney. We looked up a few things but it was too expensive last minute (new orleans, florida). I still had a great time just hanging with her though. we can always laugh with each other and i honestly think that is what makes us work. we can both laugh at me!

the wedding plans are still moving, slow moving. mostly my fault on that end. we have a big list of things to get accomplished (still have 8 months). any decision i make, i have to make it twice. for example, i am working on the rehearsal dinner location. i'm calling some places and looking on the web so once i find a good option, then i have to convince the boss that this is a good option (this is the hardest part of the decision making process). First you find a problem (we have no rehearsal dinner loction), then you make a hypothesis, then you test your hypothesis , then you collect data of the tests, then you analyze that data, then you form a conclusion...then courtney has to approve. i don't remember the wife factor in 4th grade science but in 4 year relationships, this is the only factor that matters. i think i am confusing the scientific method and the decision making process up... who cares.. no one reads this page anyways.

in other news... zoey is growing her fur back. it was the food we were giving her. now we go with this stuff (i am not writing brand names to protect the innocent and guilty) that is so hard to find, i still haven't found it. courtney has found it a couple of times so don't worry, we are still giving zoey her daily portions.

we still haven't found the perfect house, but the search is still on. gotta get good interests rates while we can. courtney found a older home on the west side of town that she loves... i like it alot but it is further out than i've been.

gymgoers: la fitness at i10/n post oak is awesome, so much better than the b___y's i've been going to.

i wish i had a really funny story to write but i don't so i will leave you w a joke...

While attending a Marriage Seminar dealing with communication, Jason and his wife Cinthia listened to the instructor. "It is essential that husbands and wives know each other's likes and dislikes." He addressed the man, "Can you name your wife's favorite flower?"
Jason leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered, "It's Pillsbury, isn't it?
