Been gone too long!

And we're back! So we really don't have any reason to have neglected the blog as bad as we have. In our defense, Nick has been busy traveling a ton for work and I haven't blogged because my posts aren't as entertaining as Nick's.....Sad face.

Surely you are wondering..what have they been up to?! Well, the answer is, not too much! I blame it on the fact that we are trying to save for a wedding AND a house! Plus with March Madness it is hard to get Nick out of the house :)

We did go to the David Gray concert last month. David Gray is special to Nick and I because we went to one of his concerts when we first started dating. So three years later when David came back to Houston we knew we must go. We had amazing seats...I think we were 7 rows back and it was an awesome show. Here is a pic taken on my iphone (hence the stellar quality)



Our house hunt continues for the perfect place. Sadly, what I consider perfect does not exist in our price range...or other people consider it to be perfect too and outbid us. We have looked at so many homes I consider us to be professional house hunters!

On the wedding front we have accomplished a lot in the past few weeks. I went to San Antonio for Easter weekend and met with a florist and stopped by our rehearsal dinner venue. We have also recently hired a guitarist to play at the ceremony (we can't have amplified music in the garden area because it is considered a historical area). We also committed to a caterer and got all the bridesmaid dresses picked out! Below is a picture of some of our florist's recent bouquets (for the ladies reading).



This weekend Nick and I will be going to San Antonio for our marriage preparation class and will be driving back immediately after so I can go to my dear friend Gloria's bachelorette party! Woohoo! I will make sure Nick blogs about how our class went!
