Saturday was a very busy day. I met up with one of my bridesmaids who recently got engaged and then had to move to Dallas for work, so we had tons to discuss! Then we went to check out a few houses that recently came on the market but nothing that we had to have. We did drive around and find some houses in Garden Oaks that are WAY out of our price range. That was depressing.
Saturday night Nick made his infamous hot dogs and homemade mac and cheese! Yummy! The picture below does not do it justice.
I love that my fiance is such an amazing cook! I am still learning. I did made breakfast on Sunday and Nick said that everything was "cooked perfectly" which is a huge improvement on my last breakfast attempt which included burned eggs, charred bacon and bacon grease burns.
This upcoming weekend we are in town but the rest of June and July are going to be pretty crazy. I have my first bridal shower in San Antonio which I am super excited about. The following weekend Nick's parents are coming to stay with us and we're going to Fredericksburg for Fourth of July weekend. Lots to look forward to!
It is nice having the menfolk to cook for us ladies! Maybe someday I will learn, too!
