Eeek! One Week!

Let the countdown continue! I got deathly ill on Friday night so slacked off on posting. Thank goodness I am back to about 80% today. The only good thing that came out of Friday night was I think I lost a few pounds. Makes up for the fact that I haven't worked out at all this month. Things have just been so crazy busy!

In 7 days it will be purple-fest 2010! As Nick informed me a few months after I finally decided on colors that he hates purple. Thanks, babe. A little late to give me that vital piece of information. It is going to be pretty in purple though, I promise.

Friday my work threw us a shower at the office. We have had tons of baby showers, birthday parties, and wedding showers for coworkers, but this time it was for me - which was a little surreal. Plus, it was the first time some people were meeting Nick, so it was exciting and I must admit that I was a little nervous! I hope they liked him!

After the shower we went to the courthouse to get our marriage license, which was not as horrible as I imagined. The girl who helped us was actually very sweet and friendly (even though she worked for the government). She told us we were a "very lovely couple". After the picture was taken, Nick thought it would be funny to send it to our moms and his sister saying that we had eloped. Not a good idea. Nick's mom called him in a panic while my mom responded via text "oh it's official?". Hahaha. Love you moms!
